Reviews
Asking for a Google review at the right moment, and hearing about problems first.
A finished job is the moment somebody is most likely to say something nice about you, and the moment it is least likely to occur to them. Mist asks on your behalf.
How the ask works
Moving a job to complete or paid queues a review request to that customer. It is sent once per job, only if you have set your Google review link, and only if the customer has contact details. The link in it is tracked, so you can see who opened it.
Hearing about a problem before Google does
The link opens a short page that gives the customer both a button through to your Google page and a private feedback box. Somebody delighted leaves a review; somebody unhappy can tell you directly, and you get an email about it the same day.
The funnel
The Reviews page shows how many were requested, sent, and clicked through, so you can see whether it is working rather than assuming.
Turning it off
One switch in Settings → Automations stops review requests entirely, without you having to remove your Google link and break the reporting.
