Customers

The record of everyone you have worked for, and the page you can share with them.

Every enquiry, job and invoice attaches to a customer, so their history builds itself. Mist matches on phone number and email, so the same person ringing twice does not become two records.

Customers with their history and what they have spent.

What a customer record holds

  • Every job you have done for them, and every invoice, each opening from the record.
  • What they have spent with you all up.
  • A repeat-customer marker, so you know before you pick up the phone.
  • Tags of your own — VIP, strata, warranty, whatever you sort by.
  • The messages you have sent them, alongside the conversations they started.

Duplicates

If two records turn out to be the same person, merge them. The one you keep gains the other's jobs, invoices, quotes and history, and anything blank on the keeper is filled in from the other.

Their own page

You can send a customer a private link to their own page: their next visit, what they owe with a button to pay it, their past jobs, and completion certificates they can download. No login, no password — and only what belongs to them.

The link is a long unguessable address. Anyone with it can see that customer's page, so send it to the customer and nobody else — the same care you would take with a shared document.
