A roller blind is the simplest thing we make and the one people get wrong most often buying off the shelf. Blockout in a west-facing bedroom needs the fabric to run past the recess on both sides, or a strip of afternoon light comes round the edge and wakes you anyway.
We measure each window for recess or face fit, choose the control side with you, and cut to the millimetre. Light-filtering fabrics are the better pick for a living room that faces the ocean.
