Motorising makes most sense on windows you cannot comfortably reach — a highlight window over the stairs, a wide stacker door, or blinds you want down at sunset whether you are home or not.
Most of our motorising is a retrofit on blinds already up. If there is power near the window we hard-wire it; if not, a rechargeable motor goes a few months between charges. Either way it pairs to a remote and an app, and we set the limits before we leave.
